The Quality Club Accreditation Program has been initiated by the SMJFL Board to provide Member Clubs with an incentive to achieve AFL Victoria Quality Club Accreditation. This will help to ensure that all Member Clubs are operating at the minimum governance standard required. The incentive will take the form of a credit for on-field apparel purchases based on the Member Club’s level of accreditation. Member Clubs who already have attained a particular level of accreditation will also receive the incentive based on their level of accreditation as at 31 October 2012.
The SMJFL Board encourages all Member Clubs to strive to achieve the highest level of accreditation they can by 31 October 2012.
The program in detail
- Any club that is Bronze level – Quality Club Accredited as at 31st October 2012 will receive a $250 credit to assist in obtaining that accreditation.
- Any club that is Silver level – Quality Club Accredited as at 31st October 2012 will receive a $500 credit to assist in obtaining that accreditation.
- Any club that is Gold level – Quality Club Accredited as at 31st October 2012 will receive a $1000 credit to assist in obtaining that accreditation.
- Credits will only be applied once at the Club’s accreditation status as at 31st October 2012 and will be applied to the next invoice of on-field apparel.
This is a significant initiative to assist all clubs with reaching Gold level accreditation by October 2012.
