Gold Coast Rec & Sport Inc

Rollerblaze is a programme of Gold Coast Recreation and Sport Inc (GCRS).   GCRS is a community-based organisation which has been providing sporting and recreational opportunities to people with an intellectual, physical or psychiatric disability since 1979. The organisation was established in response to an identified unmet need in the Gold Coast region and we currently have 1000 members. With a maxim of “willing and able” the objective is to provide the opportunity for physical and social development through sport, recreation and social pursuits, encourage confidence, trust and initiative and encourage people to become a member of generic organisations. All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of the participants, enhance educational and life quality richness and be directly related to participants abilities. Our weekly activities include AFL, art and craft, athletics, blind bowls, boccia, dance, drama, gymnastics, indoor cricket, kayaking, line dancing, music, sailing, soccer, swimming, tennis and water polo. We also provide monthly disco evenings for young adults. Contact GCRS on 55313312.
